The Elan law requires landowners to provide potential buyers with a G1 geotechnical study in areas prone to clay shrinkage/swell.
Against this regulatory backdrop, Sol Solution is regularly commissioned by private individuals and property developers to carry out G1 surveys (ES/PGC) on building plots intended for sale, generally as part of a single-family home project.
After carrying out on-site geotechnical surveys and tests, recommendations are made on the design and installation of foundations. The risk of clay shrinkage/swelling is carefully studied by means of laboratory tests.
