The dynamic panel is light weight and easy to operate, reliable and replicable. An average of 3 deflections measured at each impact on the 30 cm diameter panel make it possible to instantly calculate the dynamic deflection module (Evd). These values are immediately displayed on the electronic screen at each test.
The Ev2 module (in MPa) and the CBR index (in %) can then be calculated.
This way to check bearing capacity of soil can be used on most soils used on embankments.
Testing is extremely quick, and this dynamic panel does not need to be charged in a truck.
