Control test on nailed walls nailsA13 motorway - Buchelay (78)
Client : NGE FONDATIONS 69
Contracting authority : CU GRAND PARIS
Prime contractor : SCE
Sol Solution was commissioned by NGE Fondations based in Saint Priest (69) to carry out tensile tests on nails on a nailed wall site in Buchelay (78) under a motorway bridge.
Two types of tests were carried out.
Firstly, a series of preliminary tests carried out up to rupture (controlled displacement tensile test and then controlled stress tensile test).
The aim was to determine coefficients of friction in the various layers crossed and thus optimise the dimensioning of the nails.
In a second step, during the course of the works, control tests were carried out. Each anchor is then tested up to 1.2 times its resistance value in service. These last tests were carried out on different nail lines.
