Sol Solution organised Practical Field Work for the future civil engineers of Polytech Clermont-Ferrand in collaboration with their teacher-researchers.
As every year and for more than ten years, Sol Solution has been participating in the training of future civil engineering engineers at Polytech Clermont-Ferrand through practical field work for geotechnical soil reconnaissance as part of geotechnical missions (NF P 94-500).
Carried out in collaboration with teacher-researchers from Polytech Clermont-Ferrand, these TPs took place over three days - on 5, 7 and 14 October - in Aulnat (63). Several boreholes, geotechnical tests (Auger, Pressure meter, Scissometer, dynamic penetrometer, SPT...) and geophysical tests (Surface seismic, refraction, reflection, Cross-Hole, electric tomography...) were carried out each day.
These test campaigns are also an opportunity to present the latest technological advances offered by Sol Solution to engineering students (instrumented penetrometers, DepthBox©, Grizzly® DPSH servo-assisted EV, Mobile Application for measurement, GeoSprint© Software and WebSprint© Web Application...), but also and above all to make them aware of Research and Development in order to innovate and make improvements to current practices in the trade, all this from Clermont-Ferrand to the whole world.
